BONUS Episode - Ice Cream Man (1995)
Wednesday Aug 03, 2022
Wednesday Aug 03, 2022
It's the middle of the summer, but in this special BONUS EPISODE Cooper and Nolan are beating the heat with a little help from the ICE CREAM MAN!
It's legendary celebrity sibling Clint Howard like you've never seen him before - in a starring role! And while the guys may not agree on whether or not that needs to happen again, no one can argue that this movie isn't two scoops of B-movie greatness. (In a waffle cone, naturally)
So jump on your bike and ride along for some hot-weather horror; this episode (featuring a beer from Prince Eddy's Brewing Co.) is one that we'll ALL scream for!

Episode 66 - Road House (1989)
Thursday Jun 23, 2022
Thursday Jun 23, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are celebrating the end of their second season by doubling down on a true 80s classic - ROAD HOUSE!
The guys agree that in an extremely testosterone-fueled action era, Patrick Swayze's philosophical bouncer brought something different to the table (especially for the ladies). But that might be the ONLY thing they agree on, as arguments break out about:
- Whether more of this movie's budget was spent on Patrick Swayze's salary or tables
- If it's possible for a woman in the 80s to be sexy while wearing glasses
- What the correct way to rip a man's throat out is
...plus what might be the biggest argument in the history of this podcast, over whether or not gunshots can make a car blow up. Not to mention all of the d**k jokes and random movie theories you've come to expect over two full seasons.
So step up to the bar! This SEASON FINALE episode (featuring a beer from Wishbone Brewing Co.) is serving up something you won't want to miss.

Episode 65 - The Counselor (2013)
Wednesday Jun 15, 2022
Wednesday Jun 15, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are making a run for the border by special request this week when they discuss THE COUNSELOR!
It's a movie that proves that no matter how big your director, budget, and stars are, things can still go horribly horribly wrong. ESPECIALLY if the script is as absolutely insane as this one.
But hey, if you like pretentious dialogue, bizarre sex scenes, and more heavy-handed metaphors than you could possibly imagine, then this could be the movie for you! (Just you though... as the guys will confirm, this is NOT a date movie.)
It's a lot to take in and even more to process, but one thing's for sure - this episode (featuring a pair of beers from Cheetah International Brewers) is more fun than the law should allow!

Episode 64 - Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)
Wednesday Jun 08, 2022
Wednesday Jun 08, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are having a whale of a time this week when they travel back to the 80s with STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME.
It's a movie that's equal parts environmental propaganda and fish out of water comedy, which might be a sign that at this point the producers were running out of ideas. But don't try telling that to Cooper's brother, who makes the podcast's first ever guest appearance to fight for the franchise he loves.
Before that happens, the guys spend some time trying to answer the tough questions, like are whales really aliens? Did the Enterprise crew alter the course of history? And Saavik vs. Saavik, which Saavik would you choose?
Time to report to the bridge; this episode (featuring a beer from Cameron's Brewing) is boldly going where no man has gone before!

Wednesday Jun 01, 2022
Episode 63 - Disco Godfather (1979)
Wednesday Jun 01, 2022
Wednesday Jun 01, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are putting their weight on it this week when they discuss the unbelievable DISCO GODFATHER!
The guys fully expected this to showcase the kind of raucous comedy, incredibly low budget production values, and sexual content that are typically associated with Blaxploitation legend Rudy Ray Moore, but what they DIDN'T expect was a larger-than-normal dose of social commentary along with some legitimate attempts at artistic expression.
That doesn't mean there isn't plenty to laugh about though... between the ridiculous costumes, nonsensical filler scenes, and one absolutely ludicrous Kung Fu showdown, it's clear that while the name may have changed, it's still DOLEMITE, baby!
So get ready, mister - if you mess with this episode (featuring a beer from the Dieu du Ciel! Brasserie), you might never be the same again.

Episode 62 - Tales From The Crypt: Bordello of Blood (1996)
Wednesday May 25, 2022
Wednesday May 25, 2022
This week the guys are closing out the Tales From the Crypt franchise once and for all when they pay a visit to the BORDELLO OF BLOOD!
While it may not feature the incredible acting talents of Billy Zane (which is strikes one and two according to Cooper), in many ways this final installment is more true to the classic HBO TV show than its predecessor, DEMON KNIGHT.
It's got all of the cheesy effects, corny jokes, and ironic twists you'd expect from the Cryptkeeper and company, plus a heaping handful of nudity that teenage boys in the 90s (and Nolan today) were understandably excited about. Also: Corey Feldman, completely off the chain!
These are just a few of the sexy and scandalous things being covered in this one, so don't eat your heart out; this episode (featuring a beer from Chronicle Brewing Co.) has everything you need to satisfy your hunger... even if it's an eternal one.

Episode 61 - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Thursday May 19, 2022
Thursday May 19, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are selling their souls for rock n' roll this week when they meet the PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE!
It's the Phantom of the Opera like you've never seen it before, and the guys have all kinds of questions: Who was in charge of casting? Are the similarities with The Rocky Horror Picture Show just a coincidence? And most importantly of all, how does a guy who writes a huge musical about a man selling his soul to the devil not realize when it's happening to him?
This early Brian De Palma film is truly a one of a kind experience, so get ready to get your glam on; this episode (featuring a beer from the Grove Brewing Company) might just be your ticket to paradise!

Episode 60 - Under Siege (1992)
Wednesday May 11, 2022
Wednesday May 11, 2022
It's hilarity on the high seas this week, as Cooper and Nolan are covering a true early 90s sensation - UNDER SIEGE!
Yes, it was undeniably a massive hit when it came out. But as the guys will tell you, with each passing year Steven Seagal's one-time movie star status becomes harder and harder to understand.
Is he the world's worst (successful) action hero? Maybe, but that doesn't stop this from being a thoroughly entertaining movie - one that features C-level acting, ridiculous deaths, and the unforgettable sight of Gary Busey in drag.
There's plenty more worth talking about so prepare to come aboard; this episode (featuring a beer from Stonehooker Brewing Company) is one you'll definitely want to set sail with.

Thursday May 05, 2022
Episode 59 - The Beastmaster (1982)
Thursday May 05, 2022
Thursday May 05, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are going wild this week when they unleash the awesome power of THE BEASTMASTER!
It's an epically ambitious piece of sword & sorcery that started off with a short theatrical run, found a second life as a cable TV staple, and eventually got the deluxe VSU treatment from the fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome.
Quite a journey, but that's nothing compared to what the guys experience as they try to navigate this movie's many bizarre elements. Using animals to enhance your own sexual experiences? S&M guards in assless chaps? Hooking up with your own cousin? And as if those things weren't strange enough, imagine viewing them through the HAWK CAM!
It's almost too fantastical to believe, but our 59th episode (featuring a beer from Little Beasts Brewing Co.) is stronger than a painted tiger.

Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
Episode 58 - Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (1989)
Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
Cooper and Nolan are traveling to Tromaville for this week's episode, as they check out CHOPPER CHICKS IN ZOMBIETOWN by special request!
This undeniably bizarre 80s disasterpiece features more leather, denim, and giant hair than you'll know what to do with. Is it horror? Comedy? Sci-fi? The guys aren't sure, but one thing they DO know is that thanks to the mad scientists behind this movie, they can now cross "Zombie b***job" off their "Things I never thought I'd see" bingo cards.
That's just one of the many, MANY ridiculous things that happens in this one, so get ready to ride; this episode (featuring a beer from Counterpart Brewing) is definitely worth the trip!
